Summary: Just echoes in a cave.
Neil knelt in front of the still pool, deep inside the cave, and grinned at his reflection. “Hello, gorgeous,” he said tenderly, pulling his comb out and sliding it through his already immaculate golden hair, pushing a few imagined stray hairs back into place.
gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous, his voice whispered back, echoing through the cavern like a lover’s murmur. Neil didn’t even notice as he turned this way and that, trying to admire every angle of his perfect features. “I love you,” he told his reflection sweetly.
Love you the echo whispered back.
“Neil! Come on, man, this place is giving me the creeps!” Herry called, stomping through the cavern and grabbing Neil by the back of his shirt.

“I dunno, I kinda like it,” Neil said thoughtfully.

Both boys froze, taking in their surroundings with a new caution.
“Okay,” Neil whispered, “this place is creepy, lets go.”
