Summary: Maybe he could like Pan…
Archie flopped down on the curb, letting his whole body droop like a puppet with it’s strings cut, hands dangling between his knees, chin hitting his chest. The train plastered his normally gravity defying hair to his head, and the cold water ran in little rivulets down his neck and back. He looked up at the heavy clouds, a weary smile crawling across his face. Inside, Atlanta and Pan were living it up, talking and laughing and flirting in a way Archie could never manage no matter how hard he tried. He just didn’t get it, how to be that… charming.
And no matter how much he tried to pretend otherwise, Pan was charming. He was funny, and in to all those things Atlanta was passionate about, and when he wasn’t being the god of woods and all things that went bump in the night, he was just great. Maybe, if Atlanta hadn’t been so in to him, Archie might have even liked the goat legged god.
Maybe.
Or maybe he’d still hate the hippie bastard.
He didn’t realize that he wasn’t alone until the umbrella opened up over him. “You gonna sulk out here all night?” Atlanta asked.
“What? I’m not- who? Me? I’m not sulking, I’m enjoying being outside. In the rain. Y’know.”
“Sure, Archie, whatever.”
