“I hate that guy,” Jounouchie muttered, glaring darkly at Kaiba as the young billionaire climbed into his limo. He glared down at the worn sneakers on his feet, wondering how many hours of work he’d have to do until he could afford a new pair. Hondo elbowed him playfully and grinned, making Jounouchi laugh softly.
“C’mon,” Yuugi said, “burgers on me.”

Seto Kaiba stared out the tinted windows, watching Yuugi, Jounouchi and the rest as they walked away from the school, laughing and chattering as if they didn’t have a care in the world. And really, they didn’t.
There was a stack of files on the seat next to him; reports to read, things to approve…
Kaiba turned away, signaling for his driver to go.
