Julian blocked Sofia’s way out of the room, arms folded over his chest and his head tilted slightly, much like an inquisitive dog. “How many times do I have to apologize to you?” he asked, drumming his fingers on his upper arm as he watched Sofia.
“Until I am sure that you are actually sorry. Which you are not,” she added, managing to push her way past Julian. He almost missed her smile as she tossed her hair and marched on down the hallway.
“You know I love you, beautiful,” he called after her.
“I know,” she called back.
