Summary: Neznho doesn’t have many memories of his father.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: I own nothing.
One of the few things Nezhno remembered about his father was a story he would tell, about the phoenix dying and being reborn from its own ashes. There was something about the story that resonated with the X-Men, and not just with Jean Grey. Looking at the X-Men’s new San Francisco base, he couldn’t help but think of the story.
“They always rise,” he murmured, walking down the plane’s ramp. He could hear Santo and Victor arguing in the distance, and Megan was coming towards him, her mouth already going like a hummingbird’s hearbeat.
“You’re back! This is so good you have got to tell me all about Wakanda and hey you’ve got more tattoos can I touch them?”
He was home.
