“Don’t you touch those, Blob!” Toad warned, coming between his fellow mutant and the tray of orange ice cubes. “Those are for Wanda.”
Blob stopped, just staring at Toad. “Seriously, guy… you need help. A lot of it.”
“What? They’re for her.” Toad put the freezer tray back, giving Blob a dirty look as he did so.
“Don’t ya think you’re maybe a little obsessed?”
“Me? Naaah.” Toad pushed his lank brown hair away from his eyes. “Just showin’ my babycakes a little appreciation.”
Blob scratched his head, his eyebrows drawing together. “Appreciation… for what?”
