“Y’know, your look is, like, way harsh?” Tabitha said, leaning against the sink next to Wanda. “You’d be really hot and stuff if you’d tone down the ‘I’m Gothier than you’ vibe.”
Wanda barely blinked. “I’m not taking fashion advice from someone who puts blush on with a trowel.”
Tabby leaned in close, inspecting Wanda’s cheek. “Is the Kabuki look, like, deliberate? Cause I can totally see some of your actual skin.”
Wanda glanced in the mirror. “You lie.”
“A little sun won’t make you burst into flames. I bet if you lightened up the look, guys would be falling all over themselves for you. Y’know, kinda like Toad is now?”
“Whoopee,” Wanda muttered, reaching for her make-up bag.
