It was rare that Victor Mancha lost his temper, especially with Molly. But even he had his limits.

"Molly," he said sharply. "Knock it off."

Molly stopped waving the box of cereal in Victor's face, her lower lip trembling. "Pleeeeeeeeease?" she wheedled, her blue eyes wide and looking about ready to be full of tears.

"Put it back."

"But Viiic-"

"But me no buts, Molly. Put it back." He put his hands on his hips and looked down at her, and one eyebrow arched as she didn't move. "Now."

Molly slunk off like a kicked puppy, but Victor was too annoyed to feel the least bit sorry. He might tomorrow, but not today.
