Victor Mancha draped an arm around Molly’s shoulders, resting his chin on her hair. “There are other options,” she said, mumbling into his chest as she clutched his shirt carefully.
“Yeah,” he agreed, trying not to think of how much Molly wanted kids, or how he’d always thought he’d have a big family.
Later, they would look into what they could do. Right now, they would mourn for the future they’d hoped for.
