Summary: Jean-Paul feels like he’s dying inside when he sees what’s on the TV.
Author's Notes: Set during the Deadpool arch of Ultimate Spider-Man.
Sam Guthrie was remarkably heavy for someone so thin. And as an older brother, he was adept at keeping someone who didn’t want to be pinned in place. Even when that someone was an overwrought French Canadian speedster.
“You’ve got to let me go!” Jean-Paul howled. “That fat white bastard is trying to kill Piotr! Don’t you understand, I have to be there!”
“JayPee, you can’t run that far across water,” Sam said, shifting his weight to keep Jean-Paul pinned. “You’d drown, and then where’d y’ be?”
“Let me go, you inbred redneck hayseed!”
“You’re upset, so Ah’m gonna let that slide, JayPee,” Sam said, accidentally elbowing Jean-Paul in the kidneys.
