Wong found himself wondering, not for the first time, if any of his ancestors had ever had to deal with things like this. "Do I even want to know what this is?"

"Mmm… no?" Stephan guessed, trying to look innocent. It no longer worked on Wong.

"Tell me what you did. Exactly. Lets see if we can’t reverse thing… assuming, of course, you didn’t do this to yourself on purpose."

"Look, I’m lots of things, but that stupid isn’t one of them. But these ancient grimori really need to come with a pronunciation guide."

Wong paused, then blinked. "You’re sure it was a mispronunciation?"

If Stephan could have nodded, he would have. "A slight variation on the word I was trying to say. They’re spelled differently, but pronounced almost the same."

Wong couldn’t suppress his grin. "There might be hope for you yet, Master."
