“MJ, hey! How ya doin’?” Johnny called out gladly, a wide smile planted firmly on his face. “What’s up?”
“I’m here to kidnap my boyfriend,” Mary Jane said, grinning back at the Human Torch. “I’m fully prepared to storm the Baxter Building if I have to.”
“No need,” Peter said, snaking past Johnny to plant a kiss on Mary Jane’s cheek and wrap an arm around her shoulders. “I’ll see you later, Johnny.”
“See ya, Pete,” Johnny said, tossing off a casual wave. He held the pose until they were both out the door and out of sight, then dropped into a scowl.
