Jean-Paul Beaubier felt a laugh rising in his throat, which he did his best to keep down, at least for the moment. “You should have warned me,” he told Piotr, who looked adorably confused.
“What?”
The speedster draped his arms around his boyfriend’s neck, smiling as he drew the other man into a slow, lingering kiss. “You should have warned me that you were a romantic, Pete. A hopeless romantic at that.”
“Well God forbid that I want to do something nice for my boyfriend on Valentines Day. How utterly shocking it must be for you,” Piotr deadpanned.
