Jonothon Starsmore slipped through the pub's back door, a guitar slung over his shoulder. He stopped, letting the door swing shut as he glowered at the stunningly beautiful blonde woman who was waiting for him. She arched a perfect eyebrow and looked down a perfect nose at him. "You've managed to blow your face off again."

'Better than blue cow lips,' Jono growled. 'What do you want, Frost? Did you all not get the message when I told those Excalibur buggers to sod off'

Emma Frost game him a crystalline smirk. "I think you'll be more interested in what I have to say than you were in Mr. Wisdom's offer," she purred.

'Doubt it. I've got no interest in playing super-hero. I have been there and done that.'

"You're wasting yourself here," Emma said. "You've got a gift."

'For blowing faces off. And for blowing up school buildings.'

'I was thinking of your talent for connecting with people,' the telepath said, her blue eyes sparkling. 'People like Artie and Leech, like Penance... like Angelo.'

Jono's hand slipped up to his bandages in a clear warning. 'Sod off.'

"If that's what you really want," Emma said lightly. "When you change your mind, you know where to find me."
