Jubilee came to a halt at the bar door, throwing her arms out to stop Angelo and Jonothon's progress inside. "Lets go somewhere else," she suggested, tearing her eyes away from the ex-boyfriend and giving her friends a too bright smile.

"Whatever you want, amiga," Angelo said amiably, putting an arm around her shoulders and turning.

That's the bugger? Jono asked, keeping his 'voice' limited to Angelo. The latino mutant gave a small nod. Keep her busy. I'll catch up with you. Switching to a wider mental band, he announced, Got to take a piss. I'll catch up.

He headed for the men's room while Angelo ushered Jubilee out the door. The stupid wanker ex-boyfriend was ambling towards the loo himself.
