Summary: Ishido Maad was her first kiss.
If you wanted to get technical, the first person other than her parents that Anita Fite kissed was Ishido Maad. To this day, both of them blame it on David Bowie.
When Anita was seven, her favorite movie was Labyrinth. She watched it so many times that she could say the lines just before the actors would on screen. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she often said that she wanted to be a goblin.
Her father let this go on for the better part of a year before he finally threw the tape away, telling Anita that it had broken.
He neglected to mention that he had wielded the hammer that had done the breaking.
Faced with the loss of her love, Anita had been inconsolable.
It was three days before Ishido took pity on his goddaughter, and brought over a new copy of the movie (much to his partner’s infinite displeasure).
Anita had clung to Ishido like a monkey, and had planted a kiss made sticky from snacking right on his lips.
