Gaara watched carefully as Hinata demonstrated the game for him again, then shook his head. “I don’t see the point,” he said, cocking his head to one side.
“It’s not supposed to have a point,” Hinata explained gently. “It’s just a game. An amusement.” She shrugged, picking up the little stone she had thrown. “I didn’t get to play it much,” she admitted. “But it always looked fun.”
“Fun…” he said thoughtfully, studying the squares Hinata had drawn on the floor.
