Gaara regarded Hinata and her actions with the kind of intense interest that most people found distinctly unnerving. Hinata shifted under his scrutiny, her hands gripping the terrycloth towel tightly. “Yes?”
Carefully, Gaara took the towel from Hinata’s hands and sat down behind her. She held perfectly still as he set himself to the task of drying her hair. He combed his fingers through the tangles the towel left behind, pressing little kisses to the back of Hinata’s neck and making her shiver. “Ah… Gaara…”
He nipped the side of her neck. “Shh.”
