“Whoo-hoo!” Santo threw his hands up in the air, waving at the crowds that were actually cheering the returning X-Men. “I love this city! Someone give me a pen, I’ve got chicks to sign!”
Victor rolled his eyes, but produced a sharpie and handed it over. Santo blinked, looking down at his friend, who said, “Just go. Be a pig. Have fun.” Santo continued to share, slightly slack jawed. “What? It’s a good day. We won. We should enjoy it.”
“You were a boy scout in a past life, weren’t you,” Santo rumbled, taking the sharpie. “You don’t look like you’re enjoying it,” he added. “Do I need to beat up Illyana? I could.”
“We’re not beating up Illyana. She’s not a problem right now. Go party.”
“Okay,” Santo said, scooping Victor up and putting him on his shoulder. “But you’re coming with me.”
