Summary: In which Jono reconnects with someone from his GenX days… sort of.
Author's Notes: I own nothing. Part of my That Damn Mpreg series.
Jono dressed as quietly as he could, biting down on his lower lip to keep in a moan of pain. His head was pounding from too much drink and God only knew what else, and he was pretty sure he was going to be violently sick soon. Normally, he’d have made his displeasure at this state of affairs known by being as loud as possible, but Jono was just sober enough to remember who was still sleeping on the mostly bare mattress pushed into the corner.
He spared Cordelia Frost the briefest of ‘Oh how the mighty have fallen’ thoughts as he struggled with his boots. Like so many mutants, she’d lost her powers on M-Day, and had at some point lost her money as well, reducing her to flopping with whoever was willing to tolerate her.
As far as he was concerned, this was a stupid mistake, a mutual drunken pity fuck that they would both promptly forget about out of embarrassment, an event never to be repeated or spoken of again, should they ever run in to each other again.
This wasn’t the first time he’d had to sneak out after getting drunk and fucking someone he shouldn’t have, and now that he had a face and stomach again, he was pretty sure it wouldn’t be the last.
