There were days when Eli absolutely, positively hated Tommy Shepard. Really loathed him. Wanted to see him explode into a million itty bitty little bits.

Today was one of those days that made that loathing seem like nothing more than a friendly rivalry. Today, Tommy had gotten the whole team sucked into an alternate dimension because he just could not leave things in Pym's lab alone. He turned to his alternate universe counterpart, hoping for some kind of sympathy, and possibly even some help in hiding the body. "Is your Tommy as bad as mine is?"

If Eli hadn't known himself as well as he did, he would missed the flash of amusement on the other-him's face. "Nooo, I wouldn't say th-"

Whatever he would have said was cut off when other him was tackled by a blur that quickly reformed itself into a teenage girl clinging to other-Eli's shoulders and peering at Eli with unbridled curiosity.

"Haveyouseentheguy-meyet? He'scompletelyhotandweshouldkeephim!" She grinned at Eli, an expression that was borderline predatory, and Other-Eli sighed the sigh of the long suffering.

"Our speedster is Mia Shepard," he explained unnecessarily, as Eli had already worked out just who he was looking at. The white hair was only a little longer than Tommy's, and the super-speed was a dead giveaway.

Eli's head dropped into his hands as Tommy appeared like a bolt out of the blood, chattering at super-speed about Other-Kate, who Mia quickly identified as 'Kris', and soon the two speedsters were having their own conversation, far too fast for anyone but them to understand.

"Wrong on so many levels..." Eli muttered to himself.

Other-Eli shot him a defensive look.

"What?"

Other-Eli looked away.

"No..."

"What?" Other-Eli snapped. "Oh, come on, what's wrong with her?"

"Nothing," Eli lied quickly. "Nothing at all."

"Just because you’re one is a guy doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it! Not that there's anything wrong with that," he added hastily.

"I didn't say a thing."

"Hey, Eli!" Mia called before once again glomping on to Other-Eli. "You know what I'm thinking?"

"Hardly ever."

"Threesome!"
