crazedwolf as part of a Fic-for-Fic trade. Sequel to Fixer
“We’re building an empire, me and Selene,” Kevin said. “A better world. One where I don’t have to hide behind gloves. One where I don’t have to be afraid of my own powers!” He tugged his shirt over his head and glared at Josh, sitting oh-so-serenely in the middle of the bed. “I don’t need to be fixed by anyone, least of all by you.”
Josh arched an eyebrow slightly, still perfectly serene. “I want to help. I’m not leaving.”
Kevin threw open his closet and pulled out a shirt, throwing it at Josh’s head. “You wanna help? Start by putting a damn shirt on.”
Josh looked at the shirt, wrinkling his noise. “Don’t you ever wear anything other than black? You’d look good in red. You’ve got the right skin tone for it.”
“You’re ‘helping’ me by giving me fashion advice?” Kevin rolled his eyes. “I thought Victor was the Queer Eye guy.”
“We’re going for him next.”
“There is no we here, Foley.”
Josh folded the shirt neatly. “I told you, I’m going to fix things, starting with you.” There was something about the look on his face that started to really scare Kevin.
