Summary: It’s a cheap box of chocolates.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: I own nothing.
The box was cardboard colored red with gold sparkles shaped like little hearts. It was small and tacky, the kind of Valentine’s Day chocolates you could find at any convenience store, a cheap, last minute gift of desperation for most people; but for Toad it was a legitimate romantic gesture, and the best he could do. Wanda looked down at the cheap assortment of chocolates, then scooped it up and deposited it in front of Blob’s room before retreated back to her sanctuary.
There was another box of chocolates sitting on her pillow. Wanda picked that box up too. “It’s not cute,” she announced to the empty air, “it’s creepy. It’s stalking.”
No answer, but she didn’t expect one. She dumped the chocolate outside and slammed the door.
