“We could always tell them it was destroyed,” Kevin said, swiveling his chair around to look at the nuke they’d liberated. Both Gwen and Ben glared at him, and he threw both hands up to ward off the looks. “I’m just sayin’!”
“You’re not keeping a nuclear bomb, Kevin,” Gwen said flatly. Kevin turned to Ben, hoping for an ally. If Gwen was against it, then sometimes Ben could be brought to his side. Unfortunately, Ben’s expression mirrored his cousin’s. With a snort, Kevin spun back around.
“Not like I can’t get better anyway,” he muttered under his breath.
