Getting his hands on the mirrors hadn’t been easy, but Santo had wanted to get a good look at his new, craggy self. He also hadn’t wanted to explain what he was doing, which had made getting the mirrors that much harder.

He barely looked humanoid now.

Santo liked that word. It was one he’d picked up from Dr. McCoy.

His old form had born a slight resemblance to himself from before, but this new one was as far from that soft, weak person he had been as he could get.

In all honest (and Santo was nothing if not honest), he couldn’t remember what he’d looked like back then, when he’d still looked human. He’d gotten rid of all the pictures. His mom had even gone as far as accusing him of trying to erase the past.

It couldn’t get much more erased than this.
