“You are a very hard man to pin down, Kevin Ford,” Josh announced, flipping on the light. Kevin rolled out of the bed, clutching a sheet around his waist. “You’re doing pretty well for yourself,” the golden boy went on, looking around. “Not bad at all. Or is this all Selene’s doing?”
“What the hell are you doing here?” Kevin demanded. “How did you find me?”
Josh kicked the door shut, blocking Kevin’s way out, unless the boy was going to drive out the window. “I’ve got a lot of free time on my hands these days, what with the school being closed. Looks like you bailed out just in time. Don’t try calling anyone, by the way. I’ve already taken care of the Black Queen’s minions.” He paused, then snorted. “Minions. Heh.”
“What are you doing?” Kevin demanded once again, getting angrier.
“I’m going to fix things. Starting with you.”
