Summary: It seems that there is a possibility that Lamarick was right.

“He’s blue,” Josh said quietly, causing David’s head to jerk up sharply.
“Something’s wrong with my son?” he demanded, trying to get around Josh so he could see for himself.
Josh turned, holding up the squalling, freshly washed and carefully bundled up infant. “He’s fine, but his hair is blue.”
“You’re kidding me.” David looked back at Noriko, who was still unconscious from the anesthesia she’d insisted on before the birth. Josh had already healed up the long incision from the C-Section, so she looked perfectly comfortable.
“It’s not an unattractive color,” Dr. McCoy said gently. “And the boy is certainly very healthy. He’s probably got a fine career as an opera singer ahead of him.”
David stared at the bright blue fuzz covering his son’s head. “How can his hair be blue?” he asked, even though he already knew the answer.
The boy was a mutant, and already expressing it.
“Nori died her hair too much?” Josh suggested jokingly.
