Doc Magus watched Spider-Girl swing away in a huff before turning to Darkdevil. “One of these days, she’s gonna smack that smirk right off your face. I kinda hope I’m there with a camera.”
“It’s for her own good,” Darkdevil growled. “She shouldn’t even be out here.”
“I dunno,” Doc Magus mused. “She does alright. She was at Duncan ’s store once. Kicked all kinds of ass.”
“She’s been lucky so far. She needs more practice.”
Doc Magus tilted his head slightly to one side. “So you get her so pissed at you that she goes off to train to prove you wrong?” he guessed.
“God willing.”
“She is so gonna smack you.”
