In spite of all his power and training, Dormagus was a fairly heavy sleeper, and he really didn’t like mornings. Duncan knew that it was best to just let him sleep in, since he really didn’t want to deal with a grumpy, sleepy spell caster shuffling around the store. That was just an accident looking for a place to happen.
Sadly, Dormagus’ predecessor as Master of the Mystic Arts wasn’t inclined to agree with Duncan’s assessment.
That was why there was a smoking hole in Dormagus’ wall, right were Dr. Strange’s spirit hovered like the Ghost of Bad Rock Album Covers Past. Dormagus was slightly gratified to see that the geezer looked as startled as he felt.
“Don’t wake me up like that!”
