The photographer peered at the goth girl through the view finder and fought down the urge to sigh that threatened to overwhelm him at any moment. “Smile?” he suggested. Please, for the love of God, please try? he thought.
Like the twitchy guy with the white hair who’d come before this one hadn’t been bad enough, with his inability to sit still long enough for the picture to be taken.
The girl glowered, her lips turning up for a fraction of a second.
The photographer reminded himself that yelling at the kid would lose him his job and focused on taking the picture.
