Wanda was about to make her escape, Pietro and his ridiculous expectations of what the Prom should be like for everyone be damned, when she found Nightcrawler blocking her way, watching her curiously. “You’ve been sticking to the wall all night,” he noted. “Don’t you want to dance?”
Wanda glared, but there was no real force to it and the blue furred X-Men, his countenance hidden behind the image inducer, refused to be cowed. “It’s stupid,” Wanda growled, folding her arms over her chest.
“Then you would say no if I asked you to dance?” Kurt inquired. This earned him another glare. “No trick. I want to dance with you.”
“So, when did you lose your mind, exactly?”
“Is that a no?”
“No,” Wanda said thoughtfully, “it’s not.”
