The old woman watched Wanda calmly as the glass shattered around them both. The wind howled and Wanda cursed, but Agatha remained unmoved. She just stood there, waiting for Wanda to tire herself out.
The girl fell to her hands and knees, glass digging into her palms. "I can’t," Wanda panted, her whole body shuddering with the effort to even speak.
"You must, or the power you command will destroy you."
