When the Brotherhood first moved in with the X-Men, it was tense and loud, and everyone struggled to find their place in the new hierarchy. Were they friends? Enemies? Was this just temporary, or would the former enemies continue to live together?
Eventually, things settled, and a peace of sorts reigned over the mansion.
Then came the new students, descending like a plague on those already established, bringing with them new noises and new fights. It was driving Wanda ever so slightly batty.
Relief came in the unexpected forms of Rogue and one of the new kids. The power absorbing mutant pointed out that the new kid was great at keeping others away with his broody silence, though he didn’t actually make people stay away.
That was how Wanda’s odd friendship with Rogue and Jonothon Starsmore started – in a dark and sullen silence.
