"Do you remember Mom?" Pietro asked, watching Wanda in the reflection of the TV.
His sister didn’t look up from her book. "No."
"Are you sure?"
There was a moment, a hesitant pause, before Wanda answered with a soft, "Yes."
"Her hair was darkish, I think. Kinda like yours," Pietro said. "I used to have a picture of her, but it was real old and Father-"
The TV died a violent death as Wanda looked up sharply.
"Right. Shutting up now."
