“It’s not too bad out here,” William said, leaning against the balcony and looked up at the oddly yellow sky above. “And your Xavin seems nice.”
Karolina smiled a little, nodding. “I... I like her. But I’m not really sure if I’m doing the right thing by doing this.”
“I can’t really say one way or another,” the Emperor’s consort admitted with a small shrug. “Ugh. I thought politics back home were bad.”
