“There’s nothing left,” Xavin said, leaning back in the pilot’s seat and resting his head in his hands.
“I guess we’re free to do what we want now,” Karolina replied, fingering the hole in the side of her wedding gown. “We could go anywhere.”
“You want to go back to Earth,” Xavin guessed.
“Yeah.”
Xavin looked at the controls as silence filled the cockpit. “As you wish.”
