Xavin sat in front of the mirror, giving Karolina a wary look. “Is this going to be like the time we went bra shopping for Molly?” she asked.
Karolina opened her mouth, then closed it again. “Yeah,” she finally said after thinking it over for a few moments. “But you’re the one who agreed to do the big sis thing, and helping Molly learn to use make up is one of those things.”
Xavin looked at the powders and paints spread out in front of her, thinking – not for the first time – that her life had been much easier when she was male.
