Summary: Those words are what Xavin fears the most.

“Are we okay?”
“I don’t know.”
In that moment, Xavin wanted to find those Majesdanes who had brought this about, and she wanted to break their necks. They were taking Karolina away from her, even though her beloved was still right there.
And losing Karolina was Xavin’s greatest fear. Karolina was the first really good thing in Xavin’s life, the only thing she had left. Losing Karolina would be the end of Xavin, even if the Skrull kept on living. Anything left would be just an empty shell.
Xavin could hear Karolina crying, and she didn’t know what to do.
