Angel was finally, at long last, asleep. She was curled up on her side, and Jono had no idea if this was good or bad. He’d only ever heard about babies sleeping on their back or stomach, and those reports had tended to conflict. Plus, he’d never paid any attention to them anyway.
He’d just have to sit and watch her until Jubilee finished checking the baby books.
Jono ran a finger very lightly over one of his daughter’s plump cheeks, and she kicked her chubby little legs. If it had been possible, he would have smiled.
