Drifting
Title: Drifting

Prompt: 61. Drift Away

Summary: Jono goes for a little swim.
Author's Notes: I own nothing.
Jono made sure he was absolutely alone at the pool before slipping out of his clothes, leaving them in a little pile on the edge of the pool, and slid into the water. It bubbled and hissed around the fire in his chest before he rolled onto his back. He floated there, looking up at the rafters as they were lit by the rolling fireball, and the little rainbows the water threw up.
He was all alone there, drifting in the cool, clear water, letting all his thoughts float away like so much rubbish on the tide.
The staccato clack of heels on tile broke Jono’s meditation, bringing him back to the here and now. He found Ms. Frost standing over his clothes, holding his boxers at arms length, pinched between two fingers.
“You could have left them on,” she said, giving the boxers a little toss, so they landed on Jono’s head.
