Title: Time of Your Life
Fandom: X-Men
Characters: Jonothon "Chamber" Starsmore
Prompt: 67. Good Riddance
Word Count: 145
Rating: PG
Summary: Jono and Sugar Kane.
Author's Notes: Nothing much to say. Just a short piece about Jono's relationship with pop star Sugar Kane.
A thousand thoughts raced through Jono's head as Sugar Kane yammered at him about how they had been good together, but that she needed to think about her image.
That was all she was, really. An image, a creation, a doll to be posed in the most advantageous position for the people who owned her to make money.
He'd been with a girl who was obsessed with her image before, but at least there had been something there beneath Paige's exterior. Sugar was just... hollow.
Of course, he'd known that for weeks now.
Still. It stung, like a slap. He was good enough to tote about like that Hilton bird and her damn dog, but God forbid she have his child.
Not that she was, or ever had been, pregnant.
Good riddance, he thought as he walked out the door.
