Danni Moonstar sat behind Kitty Pride on the bed, braiding the girl's hair with deft fingers. Kitty made a soft little noise, her eyes closed. Danni inhaled, enjoying Kitty's expensive shampoo smell. Her fingers brushed the back of Kitty's neck, raising little goose pimples on her flesh.
Kitty's hair ran like water through Danni's fingers, soft and silky, and the color of fine wood. All it needed was a splash of color, provided by the dark red ribbon Danni wove into the braid. At the end of the tail of hair, she wrapped the rest of the ribbon around, securing it. "Done," she announced, resting her chin on Kitty's shoulder, her hands sliding down to the other girl's hips. Kitty let out a quiet sigh, tilting her head to one side as Danni mouthed her neck.
