Bloody gulls.
Jubilee sighed softly and pushed her shades up into her hair. “You’re the one who wanted to vacation at the shore this year.” She scanned the beach, watching Angel bury her brother beneath a pile of damp sand. “Gulls come with the territory.”
In her mind, Jubilee heard the equivalent of a grunt. Pet, leave your brother some air holes!
“Yes, Da!”
“Anyway, it’s not that bad,” Jubilee went on. “The gull droppings will wash out. I think.”
S’not the point.
“The point would be… that you can’t do anything without bitching?” Jubilee guessed, ignoring the dirty look Jono shot her.
