Victor looked from Molly to the pan she was holding out, then back to Molly. "Is it supposed to be that color?" he asked as she scraped some of whatever it was (he refused to call it food) onto his plate.
"Um," Molly said, looking at the pan.
"Tell you what," Victor said, dumping his plate back into the pan. "When we get back from the farmer's market, I'll show you how to make tamales." He put a hand on her head. "Sound good?"
"Sounds great," she said with a grin.
