He was suddenly jerked into the room, and landed ungracefully on the floor. Molly was on top of him, her mouth covering his. "Don't leave," she said desperately. "Not tonight."
Victor stroked her hair as she buried her face in his shoulder. "I can't."
"Why not?" the girl asked, her voice dangerously close to a childish whine. It strengthened Victor's resolve.
"Because 14 is too young."
"Please stay," Molly pleaded.
"I love you,” he whispered, pushing her away.
