Victor Mancha held up the fuzzy duck shaped hat, inspecting it with a critical eye. The tear he had just finished repairing was almost invisible to the naked eye. He held it out to Molly for her approval. The girl snatched the hat away, jamming it onto her head as she danced around Victor. He stood there, smiling slightly as the girl rejoiced.
He was taken by surprise when she leapt up and planted a kiss on the corner of his mouth. She grinned at him a moment before dashing away to show everyone the great job Victor had done repairing her hat.
Victor pressed his fingers to where Molly had kissed him, feeling faintly confused.
