dorksidefiker
Fandom: X-Men: Evolution
Prompt: 50-A/29. Quarrel
Character/Pairing: Wanda, Pietro
Rating: PG
Word Count: 181
Summary: Sometimes, Wanda surprises Pietro.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Pietro braced himself for an explosion of rage (and possibly a literal explosion) from his sister. They’d been sniping angrily at each other all day, and he knew Wanda was reaching the end of her limited patience. Her eyes were bright with rage, and he could see red sparks dancing ominously at her finger tips. She inhaled through her mouth, then suddenly let the breath out. Very quietly, very calmly, she said, “Get out of my room. I don’t feel like fighting you today.”
Pietro blinked, jaw dropping. “What?”
Wanda sat on her bed. “I’m tired, and I’m not in the mood. Out.”
Pietro looked around, wondering if Wanda had actually zapped him into an alternate dimension. “Um. Right. Sure, Wanda,” he said, backing out quickly, taking this chance and running with it. The door slammed shut in his face unaided, with Wanda still sitting on her bed.
