Victor was looking up at the sky, ears ringing as he tried to work out what, exactly, had just happened to him. They’d been fighting the Young Avengers -- thank you, Wolverine, you bastard -- and he’d managed to get the drop of Wiccan, literally, and had tried to knock him out of the air. It had actually worked, but then Wiccan had grabbed him, hands crackling with blue electricity, and-
He was numb and tingly and his thoughts couldn’t seem to stay together for very long. Wiccan was leaning over him, looking almost as shocked as Victor felt. Then the brunette was gone, knocked off his feet and several yards away from Santo, who only stayed in Victor’s field of vision long enough for Victor to see Hulkling descend on Santo.
