Summary: Dot’s not used to the person her brother has become.

Truthfully, Dot was uncomfortable around Matrix as she was around Bob; the was just better at hiding it. She’d never imagined that her sweet little brother could ever possibly become someone like the rather brutish sprite that had come home to her. It was like there was nothing left of the old Enzo, and the person her brother had become was a complete stranger to her.
She reminded herself that Matrix had been through a lot, rapidly aging in the games as he’d hopped from system to system, fighting every moment for survival. She reminded herself that a life like that would change anyone. She’d had to become hard herself, fighting Megabite and Hexadecimal, watching as they took Mainframe sector by sector.
Still, when Dot tried to connect with Matrix, tried to find her brother again, he shut down and shut her out. AndrAIa told her to give him more time, but it was so hard.
