Blanche Guthrie did her best to block Robert Altman-Kaplan’s way, radiating raw desperation. Bobby gave her a dubious look. “I feel I should warn you, I’m stronger than I look, and I will move you.”
“You can get to the other world, right?” she said desperately. “I need to talk to Freddy.”
“The Amazing Man Thong?” Bobby gently put his hands on her waist and lifted Blanche off her feet, moving her out of his path. “No. the barrier between our realities is too unstable. Sorry.”
“You’re sorry? Oh, you are gonna be-”
Bobby put her down just as gently as he picked her up, then looked her in the eyes. “I like your brother. He’s good people. But if you ever try to threaten me again, you getting knocked up is going to become the very least of your problems.” He sighed gustily. “Go home, Miss Guthrie. Get some sleep. Call your brother. It will all work out.”

But if you ever try to threaten me again, you getting knocked up is going to become the very least of your problems.” He sighed gustily. “Go home, Miss Guthrie. Get some sleep. Call your brother. It will all work out.”
